Why we stay small: notes from our spring offsite

We spent two days arguing about how many people a studio needs, and came back with fewer plans than we left with. That was the point.

Every app here is built by three to five people, and every one of them has shipped something they also use. Growing past that buys throughput and costs the thing that makes the apps worth opening. For now we would rather keep the second one.
